Mário Pinto (1951)
Mario Pinto is the founder and leader of the Change Partners project, as Chairman of each of our operating companies.
He is a Non-Executive Director of several companies, namely BA Vidro.
In 2006 he was elected Chairman of the Board of APCRI (Portuguese private equity association) and in such condition is a Board Member of EVCA, European Vanture Capital Association.
He graduated in Economics from the Oporto Economics University (1975) and in 1989 he joined the AMP (Advanced Management Programme) in INSEAD. From graduation until 1983 he was a lecturer at the Oporto Economics University .
In 1982, he joined Banco Totta & Acores, as a financial analyst. In 1984, he joined the Credit area in the SPI/BPI project.
During the nearly 16 years he was part of the BPI team, he has worked in credit, consulting, mergers & acquisitions and private equity, having headed the corporate finance and private equity division. He also headed the Bank's operations in Angola and Mozambique .
He was an Executive Board Member of BPI - Banco Português de Investimento, Banco do Fomento e Exterior and their subsidiaries.
Pedro Pinheiro (1971)
Joined Change Partners in January 2001.
He is a Director of Change Partners Private Equity and a Non-Executive Director of the companies participated by Change Partners.
He is a founder, partner and Director of Hozar, SGPS, the holding company for Throttleman and Stória del Caffé retail businesses.
He graduated from the Oporto Economics University (1994), having attended University of Wales , Swansea , UK in 1992-3 under the ERASMUS programme. He holds (distinction) a Masters in Finance (MSc) from London Business School (1998).
Between 1994 and 2000 he was part of the BPI team, as a Corporate Banking account manager and later as sub-director in the private equity area.
Patrícia Miguel Costa (1982)
Patrícia joined Change Partners in November 2009.
Se has developed his career in Salsa and was consultant in Leuter.
Patrícia graduated in Industrial Engineering and Management from University of Porto - Faculty of Engineering (FEUP) in 2005. She holds a MBA from University of Porto Business School (EGP-UPBS) since 2009.
Hugo Ramos (1977)
Hugo joined Change Partners in October 2010.
He has developed his career in Process Engineering, Management Systems and Operational Excellence in the Chemical and Petrochemical Industry for eight years. Formerly, Hugo was the International Treasurer and Fundraiserfor The Board of European Students of Technology (BEST).
Hugo graduated in Chemical Engineering from University of Porto - Faculty of Engineering (FEUP) in 2000. He holds a MBA from University of Porto Business School (EGP-UPBS) since 2010.
